Payment

Hello,I am a new host and I received an email that the guests'payment method failed. I did not receive a confirmation of it going through but did receive a confirmation of the booking. Does that mean the payment went through? is there anything else I need to confirm?

It sounds as if it hasn't gone through. I would not accept the guest into your listing until the issue is resolved. Give BNB a call and ask their advice.

The amount shows in my "expected earnings" does that mean that it's gone through now? What is the number to contact Airbnb by?

I am a new host and I got a booking from Airbnb but I haven't got a payment from Airbnb yet. I have registered as a Payoneer member and had my visa number in the system but I quite not sure how it works. 

 

I don't have payment into my account yet. Anybody can help? How can I call or contact Airbnb direct?

I didn't know how else to post my question so ... new host here I'm currently still with my guest now and I received the 1 penny from Airbnb to confirm my bank but any further action needed on my end? Or do I just wait for payment?

Usually you receive payment the day after your guest arrive.  If you have direct deposit,  which is what it sounds like, it usually takes up to 3 days to post to your bank. If your guest arrive Friday than Saturday you'll receive an email about payment posting.  Since its on a weekend you probably won't see money until Tuesday/Wednesday depending on your bank. 

I am from Laos, southeast Asia. I wonder if I can contact Airbnb directly about payment? Thank you.

I am a little worried about a guest booking last minute, once booking is done with Airbnb, does this mean payment is cleared ? as one has to wait till the next day to find out, in this case guest is here for 2 nights, but i have a feeling he might try and bring in a second person, in which case i will  either charge and send them on there way 

Can anyone shed some light on this situation please

When guest book a reservation their credit card is instantly charged for the entire amount. Even if you don't receive payment for their stay until the day after you arrived Airbnb has already gotten the monies from the guest. If your guest brings an additional guest, than you can go to Help/Visit Help Center/ You should be able to see your current guest and if you scroll down on the screeen you can click on "Send or request money" to bill them for the additional guest.
