Payout in Taiwan in USD not NTD

Hello I've just started hosting in Taiwan it seems payouts only available in USD but where is the USD coming from so I can decide if I should use a Taiwan local bank that accepts USD or a USD account to avoid expensive bank fees.

How To Change Currency On Airbnb Website & Phone App

1. How To Change Airbnb Currency On Phone: STEP 1: On home screen of your Airbnb phone app, click on 'Profile' at the bottom right corner: STEP 2: Choose 'Payments and Payouts' option on the next screen.

Pay out for hosts in Taiwan can only be in USD as confirmed by Airbnb.

@Vicky300 as per the Airbnb terms and condtions, section 20, your payments will be issued by Airbnb Payments UK. Check it out at:

Airbnb support has the contrary to say...

'Upon checking all my resources that your payout will be base on the default currency. Since USD is the default payout currency where you located then the USD payout will be coming from your location not in the US.'

I've asked for someone from finance department to get back to me still waiting.
