Payout options

I am weighing the pros and cons of using Airbnb to take care of my payouts versus PayPal.  I am curious to hear from those of you who chose the Airbnb option.  Why choose this option?  How secure is it?  Have you come across errors?  If so, what do they do about it?

I don't understand the difference. Doesn't Airbnb handle the payments either way? They just either send the money to your bank account or to you via paypal.

I am curious is to how secure it is.  I don't want to be submitting my bank account information just anywhere.

@Karis0 Are you asking generally about whether Paypal is secure? Or whether Airbnb's systems are secure?

Airbnb.  I understand how it works.  I want to know how secure their system is, are they bonded against loss, etc.
