Payouts after cancellation

Hello,

One of our guests (she is very new to airbnb) made a booking by mistake, which we accepted, thus the whole booking went through, and now she needs to cancel. We have a strict cancellation policy, and after the guest cancelled, i got an email from airbnb asking if i agree to a refund. However, it says - if i accept, the airbnb will deduct from my future payout upon accepting. I am confused as the amount i am suggested to accept as a refund is less than 50% of the booking and i also dont understand the deduction of the said amount from my future payouts. I never had to deal with any cancellations and would genuinely like the guest to be fully refunded. The booking is months and months away - so, i would not receive the payments to me anyway till end of august. So, what am i agreeing to by accepted the refund to the guest? And how is it affecting my account? Thank you. Lana
