Hi,
The second guest has the same problem as the previous one and Airbnb support don't see to be willin to handle the hot potatoe :
The guests get the message that the dates are not available, while the calendar shows they are actually available.
For the first one I contacted Airbnb who told me everything was okay on my side, and then suggest the guest to contact them, which he did but they told him to check with me or there was no reasons why he can't book.
Has anyone experienced this? How did you resolve it ?
Thanks in advance or your advice.

can you give us specific dates which your guests couldn't book?
check if you have any min. stay requirements for those dates ....or if you have set days when check in/out are not allowed or some other rules added for those dates or one of those dates
I've been hosting for two years and never encountered any issue like this, if there were rules, Airbnb support would have told me, but there are no rules like those you mentioned
Not airbnb rules, but settings in your listing like minimum stay, preparation days, specific check-in days etc.
If you would care to give the dates we can try and "book" with you - a kind of troubleshooting if you like.
Any date, there were guests 2 weeks ago and nothing changed in the settings. The first guest had his profile verified and lots of reviews too... there is no seasonal requirements either...
@Francis-Adrian0 you've got a 4 night minimum set, so were the guests trying to book for fewer nights? Another thing might be if you've got instant book set up with the requirement that the guest has recommendations from other hosts. If they've been given the thumbs down by a host then they can't use instant book & have to send you a booking request to approve.
I pre-approved both requests, and they can't book because "the dates are no longer available" while they are actually available in the calendar.
I've contacted the Airbnb support by phone, and they confirmed this is a bug on their side.
What is astonishing is the poor level of service from the support who keeps telling the guests the problem is on my side, without tell where. It's like they have to handle as much requests as possible to be considered productive, regardless of the quality of the service.
@Francis-Adrian0 have they given you an idea of when the bug will be fixed? It must be extremely frustrating for you & the potential guests. And Airbnb is losing out on all those service fees so I'd imagine they'd want to fix it as soon as possible.
Hello Rachel,
Well, I'll be loosing the biggest part, as the guests might end up wanting to book another place, as they want to ensure their stay at the specified dates. I hope they will wait until the bug is fixed... only God knows when 🙂

Problem solved :
The ad was locked for editing because I tried a plateform that allows to centrally manage a property (airbnb, booking, tripadvisor, etc) from a single point. I didn't know this would lock the calendar and editing the settings as well.
It's only when i told them i noticed the Edit buttons were greyed out that they understood where was the source of the problem.
