Problem with same day requests

Hi I have a problem with my same day request function. I have it set so that I can't receive same day requests, however what is mostly doing is blocking out two days! For example I checked Sunday morning and both Sunday and Monday are blocked in my Calender due to same day request settings.
I have made sure my time zone settings are correct.
Any suggestions

Just turn on same day booking.

I have mine set to accept same day bookings.  Does not seem to cause a problem.  If the days are open I don't care if the person comes the same day.

It doesn't work so well for us as we both work until late afternoon and we can't always guarantee the place will be ready especially if someone has just checked out.

Have your son or daughter come over and do a little clean up and welcome the guests ... maybe pay them $25 to do it.  🙂
