Purchased an existing AirBnB, how to transfer it?

Hey all. I've purchased an existing AirBnB. Is there an easy way to switch the listing between accounts and update banking info, or is a whole new listing needed to be created?

Hi @Skoi0 You will need to create a new listing under your profile - the previous Airbnb listing is tied to the previous owner's profile, email etc. and all the reviews go with him/her. Hope that helps! - Karen

Great, thanks, that is kind of what I was expecting! What about if said unit has already been rented next February.  Will we have to refund the money from his account to the renters and redo it through my AirBnB?

Yes, all his future reservations will have to be notified, cancelled and asked to rebook your new listing. All the best with your new Airbnb! - Karen
