Registrastion in Paris by the City of Paris

Hi,

I am involved in the most ghastly experience in Paris.

Did everything right, followed the Airbnb guides, got a registration number, had the City inspector look at the apartment, and NOW have to go to Court on 3 September 2019 facing a 50,000 euro fine ($70,000 USD).

If you own a place in Paris, GET IT OFF AIRBNB!!!

If you did everything correctly why are you having to go to court @Jim104 

What are they saying that you should have done which you didn't?

In what way do you feel Airbnb is at fault? Surely registering with the Paris authorities is between the host and the authority?

God only knows.  I can't figure it out. Waiting for lawyer to tell me.
