How do a super host applies to be consider for a relief grant from Airbnb?
where do you find this application? I have looked everywhere and I cannot find it.
Same ... I can not find an application.
That's what I want to know!!!! There's lots of talk about the fact that they are offering it. And there's lots of talk about what the requirements are. But nowhere can I find a link to apply. I've been an AirBnB Superhost for three years now....every quarter. I can't find it anywhere
you can only apply if airbnb contacts you .how they arrive at who they contact i dont know. i just got contacted.
In the beginning of the pandemic, this company announced a supposedly relief for Superhosts. I have reached out several times throughout the last 3 months trying to figure out when the invitations were going to be sent.
Agents kept telling me to have patience and every one of them ensured that I would get an invite. The deadline to apply was May 31 and no invitation was sent. Finally today, I was able to speak to a “supervisor” about this matter. She sent me an article pointing out the qualifications for the relief, in which I comply to every single criteria; When I questioned why I was not invited, she totally made something up and said that in order to make a determination on the significant loss of income, they are ONLY considering the first quarter of 2019. Are you kidding me?
The “coincidence” is that the first few months of 2019 is the only period that I did not have an income through Airbnb.
I CALL IT A PUBLICITY STUNT AND A FRAUD! How can an employee create a policy over the phone to deny eligibility? There is nowhere in the article or nowhere on the website that support her claim. Shame on Airbnb!
How are you deciding who you will invite to apply? This situation is bazaar and hardly in keeping with the Airbnb ethos of inclusivity and fairness.
Airbnb have made a lot of money out of me and my property for a number of years now. I have super host status and have worked incredibly hard to maintain that and the good reputation of the “brand”.
Time to be fair back, you would not tolerate this type of negligence towards our guests.
We need more transparency over who is and isn’t receiving these grants and we need to be allowed to apply. How on earth does a team know if this is my sole income, my personal circumstances etc... ? We can’t even get to the first point of this procedure.
I am feeling so disappointed in an organisation I thought cared deeply for its hosts and guests.
I appreciate that this is unprecedented times but we need more clarity and more urgency with grants. It would be very “meaningful” to many of us to be able to apply for help rather than waiting for someone to get around to looking at us to see if you think we are suffering/ poor enough to get offered a chance to apply !
@Billie13 Assuming your property is properly registered in the UK as a holiday let you should have received £10,000 from the Government. This massively exceeds anything that Airbnb are kindly offering where the maximum is $5,000.
On our group meeting today, we were told about the deadline to apply is this Friday. Where do I find the application?
they contact you . they have some method on who they will contact
Yes plz. Even I would like to know.
We have three ‘active listings’ but our third listing is our 2 listings combined for a better guest value and as a marketing tool. They are linked in the calendar and no one can book three listings at one time.
will this be considered in the review criteria or automatically not invited?
can we request review? How is need determined?
Thanks from Jacksonville FL
I have exactly the same problem. 2 apartments next to each other that I list as 3 options. I've been with a airbnb rep, they are very nice but have no help.
Did you learn anything?
David
We have the same concern. We have 2 properties we list, but added a 3rd listing for our home to offer a different bedroom configuration / offering. I fear that we won't even show up in your reports.
How can we get the application?
I believe there may be some confusion here between the Superhost relief fund and the SBA grant or loan. I'm not sure about the Superhost fund, but the SBA applications open Friday April 3. Hopefully we can find help on how to apply, because as I understand, it's not a straight forward application.
What is SBA?
