SMS Notifications not working

Hello everyone!

I have always recieved an SMS notification when there is a booking request or a message through the Airbnb website.

Has anyone had fixed this problem?

@Yaroslav2 - Uninstall the Airbnb app on your phone and reinstall it.  Then check your settings to make sure SMS messages are allowed on both the mobile app and the desktop app.

Thanx for the advice but I don't use airbnb application on my phone. Sms notifications were working till the recent time

i have the same problem my friend and airbnb is saying that i'm using the app ! .

I'm not using the app like you ...

The app is not the issue. If your in an area without internet connection then you cant respon to texts from clients that may be time sensitive. Airbnb needs to reinstate its contracts with carriers for messaging.

I've finally , after three attempt, gotten an answer regarding the new SMS issue. An agent told me that AirBNB ended the SMS texting feature this summer.  No reason given. This is a problem  if  were not in an internet connection zone.
