Saying "no" to guests

Hi guys, I am just blowing off a little steam, but I am still feeling irritated. We offer an apartment on the lower level of our house. It is self-contained, with a microwave, coffee maker, and electric kettle. I charge a modest price in an expensive city (San Francisco) and my amenities are clearly listed. I try my best never to be negative in any way towards my guests, as I appreciate the fact they are all here in a special place for their own special reasons. So when a guest forces me to be negative, I resent it. Tonight, shortly before 9:00 p.m. My current guest texted me that she was on her way back and wondered if she could use my kitchen to cook up some pasta. I politely said I don't offer the kitchen to guests, apologized, and told her I had several aids in microwaving in the apartment. She was fine with it, but I still feel bugged. I don't like being put in this position. If you were in a hotel, would you dash down and ask
