Security deposit outside of airbnb

Host wants me to pay security deposit outside of airbnb through direct deposit and says if I don't he will have to make a claim and will kick me out of my stay (3 weeks left in the stay). What should I do?

@Francis204 sounds totally dodgy to me!!!!!  Has there been some damage done at the property during your stay?  Hopefully this conversation between the two of you has occured on Airbnb messenger.....  contact Airbnb straight away and report this.  Totally not Ok!!!

There has been minor damage including food in the sink which has supposedly caused clogging, scratched pans, and chipped plates but nothing serious. He accused me of all the above but I have denied having anything to do with it. All conversations have occured in person so there's no evidence available. He's threating to kick me out if he has to make a claim which I obviously want to avoid if possible. One thing I don't understand is why he's asking for money outside of Airbnb, isn't it the same process for him either way? Also, if I pay the 200$ security deposit through Airbnb, can he still kick me out? And what happens if I refuse to pay the 200$ security deposit
