Selling home = cancelling many reservations

We've adruptydecided to sell our house, which we Airbnb our in-law unit.

This means we;d have to cancel 5+ reservations. 

Should I go through eaach of them and pay a $100 fine for each or is there a smarter way to do it?

Also, does this qualify for a waive?

Contact Airbnb about it first. Maybe they can relocate some of the guests. Cancellation is very inconvenient for guests also.

@Zonia-Patricia0 Contact Airbnb and let them know. They will take care of cancelling the reservations and rehoming the guests without charging you a cancellation fee. Just don't cancel yourself, or you will be charged for each one.

In the meantime though, you should definitely block your calendar: it's still wide open, and people can continue to book with you.
