Sending a Special Offer to a Guest

Hi All

 

I am new to this. I am struggling with an issue. I have a guest who has sent an enquiry but was not verified. They received one rate but I couldn't complete the booking. They completed the verification and then withdrew the original enquiry. Now they cant get the same rate. I am being told that I can send them a discount but I cant see how.

 

I am assuming that this can only be done if they send an enquiry again at the wrong rate and I then send them a Special Offer before approval. Does this require them to trust me to do so.

 

Am I right and if not how do I do this?

You posting is confusing, as an enquiry is not the same as a booking request

It seems you mention "enquiry" where it is a booking request (an enquiry can not be withdrawn.)

So the guest must sent you an enquiry (by clicking in your listing on the link "contact the host").

Reply to the guest you will sent a special offer.

Then click on the button "special offer", create the offer and sent it to the guest. Then the guest has 24 hours to accept the offer (but should act quick, as somebody else can book as dates are not reserved until offer is accepted).
