Should i claim/ report guest had orgy or drug act?

A guest couple stayed a week at our place. Checked out on time, but left a big pile of rubbish bags with dozens of empty or half empty beer cans. Also, found lots of whipper cream chargers, so.... i guess they were on high. The place overall is okay, no damage, but just weird smell throughout.

Not sure if should claim any of the deposit ($300) or just let go as he could most likely revenge by giving a bad review?

@Yu1

I am confused.... what does whipper cream chargers have to do with orgy and drugs?

And do people really consume beer with whipped cream ????

Yeah, it took me awhile to get what they were used for. Erm... just google a bit and you will be amazed what they used them for. There were heaps and heaps of these and blooped ballons, and also dozens and dozens of beers. First instint was perhaps they had a party, but urgh urgh, it's not that simple lol.

@Yu1

oh, I am really old, had no clue .... in my day's young idiots were sniffing a glue 😄 😄

back to your question.... you are not their mother so if they are getting high or drink it is not your problem. For you, it is important if they left the place clean, obeyed your house rules and didn't do any damage.

If everything was OK and all the trash was left in the trash bin and not all over the place I wouldn't mention it in my review.

We can host up to 8 guests at the time and of course, it is enough people for the party. Sometimes we find a few bags of empty bottles and we know they had a good time. If everything was left in a decent state with no damages and stains and no complaints from my neighbors then I give them a good review.

@Yu1 on which allegations would you claim the deposit? You have to have evidence of damaged or trashed place to get the money. You say they left everything clean, checked out on time, no damage, garbage collected in bags... What they do on their own time is their business as long as they don't destroy your property which they didn't. You can't just claim the deposit because you suppose something happened. As @Branka-and-Silvia0 said if they followed the rules I would give them a good review.

Well actually the pile of rubbishes they left were quite a mess to clean up with, and he actually left a comment saying he’s willing to pay for cleaning fees if needed.

Well there you go @Yu1, the guests seem aware and concious, not many guests would offer paying extra without being asked, if you feel you need extra for cleaning then you might ask for it but there is no way you will get the whole deposit since there is no reason to claim it.
