I'm trying to find a contact email , or how to contact airbnb so they can look into who created an account using my email address. I'm now receiving notifications of reservations and I have no idea what this happened! Please, is there a customer service or support email where I can notify airbnb of this! Thank you!
Ok, I'll try doing that but how can something like this have happened?? Thanks for your help!
It may be that someone has an email address very similar to yours and when they entered it in their listing to have messages forwarded to them they entered it with a typo that they did not notice. So if you delete their account you will really mess them up. Either call AirBnb so they can investigate or you could use the email to log in to the account, view the listing and find out who they are. If it looks legit, message them and let them know about their error. If they don't immediately explain themselves in a very believable way, then call AirBnb for help.
Thank you for that link! I've spent an hour trying to find a phone number.

Thanks, Mike, for making me feel a bit like an idiot. I did google - I didn't want to ring the emergency number because my problem isn't an emergency. My house isn't on fire or anything. I just wanted a helpful person. All the numbers provided are for urgent problems, so I spent quite a bit of time (yes, an hour on the website) trying to find a customer service contact on the website that was not an urgent number. As it happens, there is only an urgent number, even the one the previous poster gave a link to. My reservation is for Friday, it's only Monday. I'll see if I get a reply to my message before ringing the emergency number, although it was nice to have someone put it up on the forum - since this is where we're meant to go to have our questions answered.
If you don't want to use the phone numbers, then go on FaceBook and contact them there.
Easy. Why do you people think it is so hard to contact AirBnB?
This topic has been covered 100's of times in this forum.
Sigh.
If nothing else do a search in the forum for the topic.

@Kim119 Mike is always helpful like that. He's a breath of *%^)!! air on this forum. Actually he helps us develop thicker skin and for that we should be grateful.
Most likely this means that you have a very obvious email address password combination and someone else has a similar email and used the exact same password for theirs. They are probably wondering why they are not receiving notifications! Just change your password for both your email and this new airbnb account and disable the listing, then contact airbnb.
Go to the listing you are getting notifications about and report it using the "flag" that says "report this listing". Also flag the host who is using your email.
