Someone just made a reservation using my phone number.

I just got a message on my phone in the middle of the night (Right now) saying "Your Airbnb registration verification code is xxxx." in Chinese.

I have never used Airbnb before and obviously not made any booking and I just created an account a few minutes ago just to post this here.

I couldn't find a "Contact us" option for this issue.

Should I be concerned about this? Has someone stolen my identity?

@Eiður0yes, it is strange... contact Airbnb through facebook or twitter (Airbnbhelp) it is the best and fastes way

As already stated @Branka-and-Silvia0 contact Airbnb but not via the email notification. It could be spam and wanting you to actually give information. 

NEVER contact or click links via an email unless your are absolutely sure. Sounds Spam to me!

I would definitely speak to Airbnb about this. All the ways of contacting them including phone numbers are at the top of the forum you are posting in in a thread called CONTACT AIRNB.

I was wondering if you've seen all the replies given here? I too would recommend that you contact Airbnb so that they can check what's going on.

Same thing has happened to me. When I went to  secure my account with my phone number it said my phone number was already in use.
