Spam with guests making reservations

I have had two times guest who is making preliminary reservation and asking me to send my phone number. Under next 24 hours I have got tens and tens sms, e-mail and Airbnb messages. First time this happened 2 weeks ago. And I can't do anything with this and I have been advised by Airbnb personnel, but the messages keep on coming for next 24 hours and 6 hours sections. Now I get next spam reservation. For instance this morning I got 60 messages and now it's rolling again. I even put my apartment dormant but this doesn't work either. Do someone else have same kind of troubles?

It may just be a vindictive prank but..

 

Sometimes if you receive a mass of spam, it may indicate your password has been breached.

Check to see if there are any unexplained log in events to your airbnb account.

 

The spam can be a deluge in an attempt to conceal and distract you from changes made to your payout method to divert payment routes or bookings with immediate cancellations to extract from stolen credit cards.

 

Worth to keep in mind and prudent to check your settings.
