Presumtive guest made inquiry for 7 nights, I pre-approved. Guest asked for special price to stay one more night. I agreed and asked guest to make inquiry for the 8 nights. We let the first pre-approved 7 nights inquiry expire. Now got new inquiry for 8 nights, but get no option to offer special price. Why not? What can we do?
First: There was no need to let the first inquiry expire. You could have reversed the pre-approval and then sent the guest a special offer (by button "special offer") OR the reservation can be changed by you after it was confirmed, by adding 1 night and setting the agreed price. But I think both are still is possible. For now: Accept the second inquiry as it is. After confirmation change the reservation and put in right amount. Change will be sent to guest for confirmation.
