@Katy373

it useally added automatically when publishing a new listing.

if you removed / rejected it, maybe it is listed under "promotions" (option on calender screen) ?

Thanks so much I can’t anything at all... it’s not user friendly at all x

@Katy373  Just spend some time looking through all your hosting pages, click on everything to familiarize yourself with where to find all the settings, and make notes to yourself so you can easily find those settings when you need to.

You're right- it isn't user friendly. They love hiding things in places you'd never think to look, it isn't intuitive at all. Not only that, they are constantly changing things, so when you've finally mastered the learning curve, you have to figure out where they've now moved things to.

And you may want to use the desktop version rather than the app- you may find it easier.

Thanks so much glad I’m not the only one

Hi @Katy373

Welcome to the community 😊

You can’t add the 20% offer for the first three reservations because your listing has been publishing.

Yet, you can add a discount in the pricing and in the availability sections.

Base pricing, smart pricing, daily/ weekly/ monthly discounts, special promotions, and a special offer to the potential guests are all under the host's control.

@Katy373  It's really important to be aware that discounts are cumulative, not exclusive. If there is already a 20% new listing discount on your listing, if you added a weekly discount of 10%, the guest will be given 30% off.

Don't think you have to offer discounts to attract business, and do not agree to discount because a guest requests that. Those who ask for discounts are usually red flags.

You should not take longer term bookings, anyway, at this point- you want short stays while you get familiar with the platform and vetting prospective guests and to try to build up reviews. Maybe set a 1-2 week maximum stay.

And pay zero attention to Airbnb's price tips. They are absurdly low. Price according to similar listings in your area.

That’s great advice really appreciate it thanks so much xx
