Star ratings not matching

Have any other hosts had an issue where your dashboard rating is appearing differently than the public rating?

We've been working our way back from a lower rating due to a not-so-great guest towards super host, and were excited to hit 4.8 stars after our last review. Our public listing is showing 4.75 however.

Has anyone ever had this issue before, and is it a fluke of airbnbs tech or something else?

It’s just one of their inconsistencies.

On your dashboard they round up the actual rating for some reason.

@Ursula278 Hosts remeasured to 2 decimal places which makes it near impossible together back to 5.00 even after a rating of 4 from a guest. Interestingly guests seem to be measured to 1 decimal place nd the three things you rate them on are averaged so it is very easy to get back to 5.0 for a guest.

Lucky for us, the rating when assessing Superhost criteria is measured to the tenth decimal place whereas the overall score on your listing is measured to the hundredth. In other words ... 4.75 rounds up to 4.8.

Also, keep in mind that Superhost status accounts for all ratings within a 1 year assessment period. So as you host for more than one year, your super host rating will almost always differ from your overall rating since you started your listings. But since you have only been hosting for a few months this does not apply to you yet.
