we all noticed the same thing and it is understandable. Reviewing was fun at the beginning, a few years ago, but now we are all fed up with it. Guests spend 1 night here and 2 nights there... so in a week or two they change several destinations and hosts, have to pack, transport from place to place, want to go sightseeing... they have no time and interest to review each of their short stay, each UBER driver, each restaurant...
The same with hosts - imagine if you have 3 or more listings and turnovers every day as we have, you get tired of writing reviews, then you start to copy paste the same rewiew and at the end, you stop writing reviews altogether. It is, even more, complicate if you have hired cleaners or self-check-in option. You should review someone you never met ... and have to ask your cleaner was everything left in order, did they make any damage, did they close the door and turn off the A/C ....?
If we don't write a review on the day of check out we soon forget who is who and where he was staying.
And, besides that, Airbnb recently made the rating process even longer then it was instead of making it as simple as possible. It was a mistake.
