Subleasing without Permission of tenant

Subleasing without Permission of tenant

Greetings. I was subleasing a space month-to-month from a person in a commercial building. Half the room is there art space and the other is mine.

The person I'm leasing from placed the space on Airbnb, using my equipment in the description as the main part of the Airbnb experience without telling me. I only found out when some random person opened the studio door while I was there alone .  I'm 100% sure the property management doesn't even know about the sublease or the Airbnb.

Should I just end the lease and leave? What can I do?

Do you have a lease agreement? You can contact Airbnb and get it removed,

Does the owner know you are renting part of the building?

I'm pretty sure the owner doesn't even know I'm renting. Yes I have the lease agreement

That's not very cool. Have you asked the person you are subletting from what is going on and why he/she advertised the space you are renting on Airbnb as an experience?

I tried but they won't answer phone calls, emails, or texts. I'm just going to remove my items and end the else though the property manager

If it's not too much inconvenience for you and you are not going to lose too much money (e.g. a deposit), perhaps that's the best thing to do. This person doesn't sound very professional!
