Superhost thoughts on Instant Booking

Hi! I am a fan of Airbnb and have been a Superhost for 2 years. I turned on the Instant Booking with the STRONG prompting of the Airbnb sale values. It has worked well about 98% of the time. I recently had an instant booking that was 35 days out. That is a good thing and the first experience with a booking that far out. The down side is that I am pretty much locked in to host. I wasn’t able to do this easily this time around and when I called Airbnb to ask about options there wasn’t any option that left me without a negative consequence. I have since turned off Instant Booking so that I won’t have that issue again. Anyone else dealt with this?

@Matt4212  The least amount of time you can have your calendar open to bookings is 3 months in advance. But if you have plans for the future before that that would make it difficult or impossible to host, you should block out those days manually on your calendar, so they can't be booked, regardless of whether you use IB or not.
