Hi! I noticed the box to charge a tax on top of rentals is now available. So the renter will see the portion of tax, rental fee, airbnb fee... and we also receive the details in the reports, right?
I do my own tax returns as a sole prop and remit my income tax. The owners of the properties I host remit the income tax for their income (here that is HST, corporate tax etc) themselves... (more accurately, their accounting firms do). Anyway lots of complicated tax hoops to try to keep straight and I think we are all doing a pretty good job doing it right! Our current system works well....So my question is can I try the tax feature on a listing for a couple of rentals, AND remove it if we don't like it/it's less convenient and/or takes more time than our current system? I don't want to turn ON something if I can't turn it off again! Thanks all.
