My sister and myself just got our first reservation, at the same time we were told that the pipelines of our private of houses are going to be under mainteinnace for the first 5 days our host would suppouse to be there...
OMG, I already informed our guest, what should we do? Just cancel? He reserved for 52 days.
What did your guest say. Are they happy to continue with their reservation?
If so, maybe offer some sort of reduction for the first five days ?
I would speak to BnB and ask their advice to see how you can cancel the booking with no penalties on either side, if the guest doesn't want to continue.
