All through out the listing there are notes that warn against sending or requesting money outside of Air BNB, @Macbeth0, so my thought is this is not legit.  Please go to the profile of this host and under the name, click on the flag and report this listing.

Hope you find another suitable place to stay!

@Macbeth0 Fake news!

It's definitely a dud email and you are never ever asked to wire transfer money with airbnb, it's going to be lost money if you do.

You can see the guidance in the above links.

No, No! Don't do it. Funds are supposed to be through the AirBnB system. Not wired outside the system.

@Macbeth0  NOOOO!  This is a scam.  Do not make a wire transfer as this is essentially a cash give away.  The email address you provided is a typical scam email address where the word "airbnb" is inserted to give you a certain level of trust.  But it is NOT a legitimate Airbnb email address.  Here are some useful links to keep you safe on Airbnb:

Hope you didn't make the transfer!

By the way, @Macbeth0 can you share the link to the listing?  It needs to be reported to Trust and Safety so it can be removed from Airbnb.  Thanks!
