The profile photos that guests are using should be much clearer.

There are potential guests whose profile picture is a shadow of their profile, a picture of their dog or bird or a funny face with their tongue hanging out. 

 There are alot of new members with 0 reviews which the hosts have no way of reviewing these guests. We are taking chances with these guests and would at least appreciate a decent picture of the guest. Airbnb needs to make it mandatory that a profile picture be clear of the individual.

 Just curious as to what other hosts think?

@Tim-and-Nickie0, this has been under debate on this forum for a very long time and most people agree they would prefer to see a clear face pic of the person booking, but Airbnb does not require it, unfortunately. 

If you're ever in doubt, the best you can really do is call Airbnb and verify that the person has been internally verified by Airbnb via a government ID, selfie, etc.

@Tim-and-Nickie0 I require a visible face in the photo as part of my house rules.

I also have a photo summarising by booking requirements. It has worked so far!
