The propsed bill to amend Airbnb hosting in South Africa

I would be interested to know how the community in South Africa feels about the propsed amendment and also if hosting has been affected by the fact that it has been in the press and social media. It is interesting for me to note that bookings have dropped off since the all the publicity has come to light. I understand May and June are queit periods but it just seems a little co-incidental.

It is interesting to note that I had no bookings via Aurbnb since April this year. My bookings via other platforms are nor affected or down at all?
