Theft from guest

Dear Community,

An airbnb guest lest with the keys of the flat and stole from me (from my own room and not the rested out room). A camera, a phone, clothing and a bag and deleted his profile the day he moved out. Maybe he stole more things I haven't found out about yet. Airbnb doesn't want to pay me back the stolen items, even the change of the lock is not sure to be paid!!! Did anyone ever have that situation? I don't know what to do, If I rent out a room, it's probably because I need the money. I can't spend anything on buying back everything that got stolen from me! I'm losing hope...

And of course you had your own insurance? I hope you wernt depending on Airbnb to cover you?
