After a long run around, AirBnb has notified me by email that they will not be making good on this Toronto offer:

They told me "don't discourage we ensure you that we can all have a long and strong partnership where both parties win.

I hope you keep on being such a great host and championing our mission as a team."

I will be making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to let them know about this team effort. I will update.
