They only stayed two nights, used up every towel and one of the hand towels appears to be covered in bleach, the other linen in blood and makeup or fake tan, the other towel in makeup!
I would like to know how many people files a claim requesting the guest to pay for linen damages. I had this happen 3 times and basically lost money on the stays.
file a claim, you have nothing to lose. I've seen a post where the host was refunded for his new expensive duvet cover, pillows and sheets ( I think Versace brand)
Take pictures and request money before your next guests arrive. You should have receipts for damaged items (to proof how old were these items) and/or the link to the same item online.
There is a reason why hotel towels and sheets are always white, some guests use acne products and it bleaches the color. I bought gray towels once and they were stained/bleached the first month.
Thanks. I doubt she will pay up as I’ve emailed the guest about the situation, no apology received, she said she assumed the purpose of paying the cleaning fee was so the cleaner would clean.
🙄
There’s a difference between cleaning and damaged beyond repair.
I don’t even know how one towel ended up this way. It’s a dark navy towel which is now covered in bright pink blotches almost all over. It looks like bleach.
