UK Tax on Airbnb

Hi all, 

I joined airbnb as a host July 2018. I let out my home during each month when I am not there (whole house). What would the rate of tax be for the tax year 2018/2019 please? Is it a £7500 tax free limit? 

And what about 2019/2020?

@Edward279  the £7500 tax free only applies to renting a room in your home, not whole house rentals.

The rate of tax you pay depends upon how much your other earnings are.

Band Taxable income Tax rate

Personal Allowance	Up to £12,500	0%
Basic rate	£12,501 to £50,000	20%
Higher rate	£50,001 to £150,000	40%
Additional rate	over £150,000	45%
