Unauthorized discounts being offered to my guests by Airbnb

Why would Airbnb offer my inquiring/potential guests a discount on my property without my knowledge?

In this latest incident, and there have been several, the guest was offered approximately 50% off the nightly rate.  Now the guest is angry with me because I cannot honor the quoted rate.

Who is doing this, and why?

@SkyValleyResort0 Could it possibly be the 69%  discount you have listed, remove it at "Length of stay Discounts"

I just had the same thing happen to me...a guest contacted to say the they were offered a 40% discount on my property. I didn't offer a discount. How did they solve your issue?
