Visa being reviewed-how long till I can book?

Hi,
I'm planning a trip to Los Angeles and I arrive next Sunday night, keep in mind I've had this account for 2 years but this is my first time trying to book something. I've been trying to book a place to stay but after I put in my visa information the site asked me to send a copy of my last credit card statement which I did. It's been more than a day now, and I'm still not able to book anything because whenever I try to book a place it sends me to a screen that says "We’re reviewing your billing statement for Visa ****. There’s nothing else you need to do right now." I'm just wondering how long it takes for them to review the information since It's very urgent for me to book ASAP.

I am having the same issue. I have recieved and email saying the card was aproved but I can't book any reservation...

I am having this same issue. It told me it would take 24 hours to verify and i am getting anxious as my trip is very soon, and dates are getting filled up.... its making me very nervous.

I don't have any experience with pending verifications of what you're describing. As a host my experience is that where not already done, guests have 24h for their payment method to be verified or payment go through or profile verified. A large part of these usually get it within 12h.
