Want to remodel my home and do nt want to have guests while this work will be carried out. How does this effect my current status with AinBnB?

you can snooze your listing until renovation is over and then reactivate it again..... or you can just block one period for renovation.

If you already have some bookings for this period you should honor them or cancel but then you face penalties

@Pat278  Depending on how long the renos take and when you are able to accomodate guests again, it could result in the loss of your Superhost status if you don't end up with enough stays in the quarter it falls under.

It's too bad that Airbnb doesn't make allowance for this, as snoozing your listing to improve your home shouldn't have anything to do with having earned Superhost by your hard work, but they haven't recognized this.

Hi Quincy - totally agree with you. I have to do what I want to do. So snooze my let for a period is fine by us. I lose my super host status is bad but in the context of all that is wonderful in my life it is really small fry I guess.
