What happened to the "custom URL" Brian Chesky promised?

I find it dissappointing when promises are made and they just fade into the ether never to be mentioned again.

It seems that the facility is not available. But there are other ways to create a nice URL:

- Get a suitable domainname yourself from a domain name supplier and redirect to your homepage at Airbnb

- If you own allready a  website "mywebsite", create a link yourself, for example : "www.mywebsite.com/airbnb" and redirect to your homepage at Airbnb.

- use a shortening service, like bitly, google etc offer and have a short name referring to your homepage. At bitly you can even choose it partly yourself.

(Which you know, as you uploaded allready a coverphoto ! Which is recommended to every host to do so , especially when you have multiple listings.)
