What's a polite way to say, "No, ma'am, I charge more for 3 people" ?

Hi smart and clever hosts!

I'm having a brain freeze at the moment...    I have 2 ladies already scheduled to stay in my guest suite from 5/29/19 -  6/3/19,  and today, I  received this note :

"Hi Betty, how are you? I just wanted to let you know that there would be a friend of mine and Julie's that would like to join us for our trip to Denver. Would it be possible to have her in your apartment as well?  We wouldn't need an extra bed, two of us can share the big bed.
Is it ok for you? Thank you!!"

She's not directly asking to pay the same thing for 3 people as for 2---I  should  probably ask her if that is what she is requesting first.   I think my  rates are listed pretty clearly.

Am I being too picky?

Thank you for your input!

Betty

@Betty124

Your listing shows you charge extra for additional guests above 2 guests, so it means you can sent her a change of reservation, which will reflect the correct amount of additional guests and the (increased) price according to it.

Remember, you are running a business, not a family reunion !

Best regards,

Emiel

Thanks very much!

"8.3.3 You may not bring any additional individuals to an Experience, Event or other Host Service unless such an individual was added by you as an additional guest during the booking process on the Airbnb Platform."

@Betty124  Hi XXX, as you can see from my listing details, I have an extra guest fee for guests above the base amount of 2. Its fine for your friend to stay, you'll receive a reservation alteration momentarily to include and pay for the extra guest."

That's great, Sarah!  I  combined your ideas and Ange's ideas when I answered her.  Thank you!

@Betty124     How about just sending something matter of fact like this. That way you don't have to agnonize how best to word your email and her reply will tell you what her expectations are.

"Hi, ma'am,  thank you for letting me know.  I will send you an alteration request for the fee for your extra guest.  Please click to accept the alteration in the email you receive from Airbnb, it will confirm your visitors as guests".

Just right, Ange!  That's  very close to how I phrased my reply.  Thank you!

Thank you all so much for your suggesions!   Here's my reply....

"Hi, Raquel! Thank you for letting me know. I'm happy for your other friend to come also... She will love it!
I will be sending you the Alteration Request shortly for the additional fee for a third person, as seen in my listing.
Please just click "Accept" to the email that Airbnb sends you, and that will confirm the third person as a guest."
