Hello!
My boyfriend and I reserved a home. The owner is new and has many new listings, and now as reviews are being posted to his properties, they are all bad. What should we do? What should we do if our accomodation is not up to standards he presented? But at the time of our reservation, the reviews were ok, not many of them, but satisfying.
I am just wondering what should we do if the listing is not as it is said?

@Sanja37 Find another place you like then contact AIrBnB the nunber will be on your reservation and ask them to relocate you to the other property as the owners reviews are not up to standards you are finding out from all recent reviews posted. Tell them you are now uncomfortable with the place because of them. They will be able to see all of them
Thank you for your answer. We are concerned because we had some credit, and the service fee is really expensive. Would the whole amount be relocated?
Thank you very much!
@Sanja37 They should actually give you a 10% credit for booking the new place make sure to ask/demand it as this was not your fault that the owner is is not giving what he promised to his guests based on the current reviews.
That bad reviews are for other properties, the one we have booked doesn't have any new reviews. We contacted the owner several hours ago about exact address, and we will ask him about our concerns, so that we don't do anything rush. But he isn't answering yet...
Hi @Sanja37,
Welcome to the Community Center!
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling uncomfortable because of the reviews. Have you been able to get in touch with Airbnb as recommended by Letti?
Well, we contacted the owner about checking in and the address. He mentioned the cleaning lady, and we voiced our concerns about cleanliness... I am checking the reviews everyday, I would not want to make someone a problem if everything turned out to be ok.
But I was just wondering, what if we go there, and do have a problem, what should we do then. I am always afraid that we will end up on the street, and as we already paid... what can we do..
Should I contact Airbnb anyway? Will they inspect the owner or what.
Thank you for your answer,
Sanja
