Since you are looking for a reservation so far in the future, I would suggest contacting the host with an inquiry to confirm availability and pricing. Since you intend to book so far in advance, it would not be unreasonable to ask for a discount.
Some hosts don't update their pricing so far out in the future and this could cause complications. so be sure to confirm this. Also, I would advise getting travel insurance especially if your travel includes expensive flights and other costs. It is rare, but life has a way of changing plans so you need some protections in the event you or your host needs to cancel for any reason.
