I think probably the review system is the most difficult as it is heavily biased against hosts. Because hosts are so pressurised into maintaining a very high rating, that means they are often reluctant to confront a guest about breaking house rules or general bad behaviour, trying to claim for guest damages or refusing unwarranted refunds.
It's a big problem, actually. If you browse this forum, you will find many posts giving discussing this and giving examples.
Also, it seems that Airbnb can summarily suspend or even delist hosts' listings due to any erroneous claim from a guest, i.e. we are 'guilty until proven innocent'.
Airbnb customer service is basically a mess. If you are are lucky, you occasionally get a well trained, knowledgable, helpful rep, but most times they are not helpful at all, have no idea what they are talking about and seem hell bent on just closing the case without any solution. It's a bit of a battle, to be honest.
