Why Have I had money deducted from my recent payout

I recently had to cancel a guest reservation as we have sold our house and we are completing on or around the date this guest booked,  I sent a message to the guest to explain and she was happy to try and find somewhere else.  She then went onto cancel the booking.  I have not received any money from this booking due to the timescale of it being a reservation well in advance, however you have taken £39.28 from my payout reservation **which should have been £88.69, I am unsure why you have done this, I shouldn't have to pay for a cancelled reservation that I have received no monies for?   Please advise by return.

From your reviews: The host canceled this reservation 35 days before arrival. This is an automated posting

The $50 charge is your fine, as per Airbnb T&Cs, for cancelling, @Deborah758. You'll lose superhost too.
