Why am I being asked for pre-approval when instant book is on?

I’m confused! I have instant book on so why do I keep getting pre approval requests? Thank you!

Hello @Jenn19,

Even when instant book is on, prospective guests can still send a reservation inquiry if they wish to ask questions prior to booking.

You can also still receive reservation requests if the person doesn't meet the requirements for instant book e.g. they don't yet have any reviews. In this case the person is not given the option to book instantly.
