The wording attached to my "front page" by Airbnb is not marketing my property as I would like it to be and I would like to change it asap. I have spent at least an hour trying to find an area to put in this request.
The wording Airbnb has used is so dull -"residential/walkable/well equipped kitchen" and is not describing my property in the best light at all.
Words such as "central/cosy/quiet" far more reflect all the time effort and finance we have put into building up this buisiness.
Help!
Those are not words added by Air, they are added by guests who have stayed. When you write a review, the words are offered as tickboxes which you are prompted to tick as many as you like. You will find the words change all the time, depending on your guest's reviews.
Next guest might tick the words you want!
Air changes things all the time, some changes will work and others not. I am thinking this is working towards increasing the search capacity, so you can tick those words in a search but I could be wrong. As Air grows, they are probably looking at ways guests can increase the capacity to find a place which will best suit what they are looking for in a listing. Hence, the more words guests tick, the better!
My listing has the notation "quiet"....but it is on a very busy road and I mention that in the description. I don't know where Airbnb picks up these words!
It is tickboxes, the choice is made from guests who have stayed. It is part of the review process, something new Air is testing. I only realised what they were as I had to do a review myself recently. Can only be more accurate as lots of guests review, and you get averages.
