Wuhan Virus

Wuhan Virus

Given the outbreak of the Wuhan virus, I have decided to stop taking reservations from China guests.

This is to safeguard us and future guests as we do not have the means to sanitize the apartment. What do you all think?

A difficult one. For me it  feels a shame to discriminate against all Chinese guests when the warning is only relating to one area in China. @Jason1306

There are also outbreaks in Thailand and Korea. Are you going to ban guests from these countries too?

The reality is that there are infectious diseases in all part of the world that can be transmitted by human to human or human/animal contact.

WHO reports globally that there are two disease outbreaks every week in various parts of the world.

Absolutely we need to be mindful of any potential risks around disease outbreaks.

Hopefully Airbnb should have some advice on its website for hosts.
