airbnb forced cancellation

Hi, we sent the lock box code to our guests the day before their check in. Just before they are due to check in my inbox tells me that I have cancelled the reservation (which I did not do). Help! How do I find out if people are at my house, we are travelling at another airbnb! TIA

Hello @Erik99 Get in touch with Airbnb to explain the cancellation - Twitter might be the quickest. As for checking - doesn't the lock box send messages whether the code has been entered etc?

My host decided to cancel my booking only 28 hours before my arrival as I asked a simple question " Can we check in two hours early?" 

This is discusting as now I have to pay over £1500 to book hotels for a two nights stay in Frankfurt. I am more than angry with the host as he had no justification  for asking a simple question and cancel my resrvation. This is a joke. I shall NOT be trusting AirBNB again!!1
