can guest be asking for alteration to get out of the booking?

Hi, I have a guest that has booked my place for 28 days and about 2 weeks later ask for an alteration request because "he mess he messed up the dates" I accepted and just now about 3 weeks later ,he is asking for another alteration with no explanation. I have a strict cancellation policy that I updated about 2 weeks a go. My guess is he might be trying to alter the booking so he can get out of the booking as he has 48 hrs to cancel without policy? thank you,

@Liliana167I would suggest that you ask the guest to cancel his booking. 28 days is supposed to be a long-term booking. Long-term cancellation policy is applicable. Now he asked for change request again. The other option is to decline the alteration request. The first option is better since the guest would not be happy if you decline the alteration request. You don't want an unhappy guest to stay in your house.
