cancelation fee/Web Site and general service

OK, real simple:

I thought i would give Air-**bleep** one more try after shutting down the site for several months,

Cancel policy: now they give customer the ability to canel within 2 week or something... and i have no choice... I am not a hotel and i don't have 100 rooms....I have 2 and I dont want anyone that is not going to showup or book my place on a whim.

Nazi style policies: these guys are nothing short of crimmial in the way they treat hosts, they do not respect there hosts at all and make every rules in favor of clients... lucky for me i never have a problem... execpt with the Air-Sh@t policys. they redact words they delete phone numbers, they get in the middle of every thing... all in the word of protecting their "Money".... really...I dont care that they get paid all I want is to control the customer experince....

There web site is a joke, I mean for such large money losing company their website looks like it was written by a 1st year college student.. I mean really its a joke....

I have once again risen my rates so I will not have suffer any more interaction with Air-Sh@t and once that happen i will delete my account this time and never return.....

For the record I use only one other service... starts with " V Like Victor"  and i am booked 80 percent year around... so I really dont see any value with AIR-SH@T and cant believe they get away with their actions....

@Daniel68

I feel your anger so you must have a pretty bad experience with Airbnb .... but I have one correction:

  • The Airbnb service fee is refundable up to 3 times per year if the guest cancels within 48 hours of booking and at least 24 hours before check-in. It isn’t refundable if the guest cancels a reservation that overlaps with any part of an existing reservation.
  • Cancellation policies may be superseded by the Guest Refund Policy (no idea what it is), extenuating circumstances ( it is often misused), or cancellations by Airbnb for any other reason permitted under the Terms of Service.

Some areas are very successfully booked over some other booking platforms but unfortunatelly, not everywhere.

O no you dont.... as I not angry... I am stating facts. dont start that mumbo jumbo with me... they are turning businesses into a dam hotel business and you know it... gee oh a single customer can canel up to 3 times and maybe they do something...so combines that with a million customer do the same thing.. tieing up peoples rentals... give it a break.. ... u work for Air - S@hit... I could go on and on but it not worth it... I am just letting other on this site know how it is... and there are other firms... to use that work just fine and dont try to control every little thing

@Daniel68 calm down! @Branka-and-Silvia0 are just stating the facts, they are hosts like everyone here. Why is it when anyone simply states the policies we all agreed upon when listing our homes is immediately said to be working for Airbnb. Nobody forces you to stay on the platform if the conditions are not right for you, why all this anger. We all know that they have lot of space for improvement but if waiting for those improvements stresses you out you don't have to keep up with it.

No @Daniel68  I don't work for Airbnb - Airbnb is working for me, I use Airbnb services and I pay them for it.

I would like to work for Airbnb though... as a web designer, which is my proffession. I would make this platform much more user-friendly for sure 🙂
