As a new member I don't have any eperience with instant booking. I got one in November 2017 for the last week in 2018. I had not blocked that week in my airbnb calendar because I am not used to people who book so far in advance. The person who had booked was also quite annoyed when I hesitated to accept the booking. Now I am wondering if I can cancel it because my 'non air bnb' guests who have come several times already always at the end of December would love to come again end of 2018.
Is it possible at all to cancel under these circumstances? Thanks for your help!

Hello,
You could set your "booking window" to a shorter period, for example 6 months in future. Then people can not book in the period beyond. Setting can be found in "reservations preferences".
It is possible to cancel, but you will be penalised: What penalties apply if i need to cancel a reservation (also read "Instant book" section)
