Hello everydody. I would like to ask: A visitor bookes for 2 days. He arrives the first day and he says he changed his mind and he will stay one day although the host informs in his listing details that he accepts no less than 2 nights booking. Is the visitor authorised to change the booiking to one day? Is the host authorised NOT to accept this request of change? What can a host do to protect himself from visitors who don't know what they want or they delebertly change their minds?Thank you.
They can change their reservation - but it is up to you to accept it and give them a refund (or not).
I once had 2 girls that requested to leave 1 day early - on a 5 days reservation. They were so difficult, that I accepted, gave them the refund of 1 night, and received a 5* glowing review. I thought it was better in the long run (loose 20 GBP and get a great review, versus keep the 20 GBP and get a low review...)
